Creative Architectural Concepts
Our company was formed in 1979 by good friends and masons Ron Carter and Malcomb Witt. The business was incorporated in 1985. In 2014 Malcomb’s son David and Ron’s son John became full partners, both having worked fulltime in the business for over ten years. 2018 marks our 40th year of providing high quality masonry to customers throughout central Kentucky.
We Pay Close Attention to Detail
Our expertise includes all types of brick, block, and stone construction, masonry chimneys and fireplaces, brick and stone veneer, brick and stone paving (including sand-set), dry-laid stone walls, structural block work, and all types of masonry restoration.
We are recognized for our attention to detail--both aesthetic and structural--in producing the best possible product in any given situation.

We are members of Associated General Contractors of America, the AGC Safety Committee and the AGC PROTECT program, which promote safety in the construction industry, and we are proud of our A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
In 2008 Carter and Witt Corporation received the Kentuckiana Masonry Institute Special Project Award of Merit for our work on an addition to the Graves residence on Richmond Road. In the same year, we received the Preservation Craftsman Award from the Bluegrass Trust for our body of work on many important restoration projects in Central Kentucky.
